Photoshoot Wednesdays Part 2

After not updating and practicing for months, we finally had the time to do another shoot! Today, another heavy school work of ours was passed, which gave us relief and the energy for a shoot! Do take note that everybody involved in this photo shoot had only a few hours of sleep (or no sleep at all), but everything turned out well.

Photos are either taken by me or my mentor, Danica Lague (naks!)
This is our joint project. Danica took the colored shots whilst I took the black and white ones. More pictures to come + a behind the scenes vid as soon as we get everything done. Hooray for us!

Those days when I just feel like it

"Hey here's an idea! Instead of doing your school works, why not take pictures of yourself?"

This is what happens when I listen to the voice inside my head.

Photo shoot Wednesdays 1

Since I will be regularly bringing sweet and oh-so loving Baby Boy (Yes, I named my camera "Baby Boy") every Wednesday for our NSTP class, I've decided to have photo shoots during our lunch break! Let us have a round of applause for my mentor Danica Lague who has been teaching me a few camera tricks and adjustments (naks!)

Blue is Best S.Y. 2013-2014

Assumption held a Mass of the Holy Spirit and Blue is Best last Friday. The first and second period were shortened to accommodate the schedule of the said event. It was held in the newly renovated Stone Stage. I was thrilled that it was now open, I don't need to take the long cut to the TEB anymore! When I passed by it for the first time, I couldn't help but be amazed at how it looks like. Props to the people who made it look so enlightening.

Here are some pictures that I took of the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

The priest also blessed the newly renovated area.

Kudos to Voices for doing a great job as well, too bad I didn't get the chance to take a picture of them.

And then, it was time for Blue is Best!

For those of you who don't know, I am a Second Year-Media Production student. Last year's Blue is Best was also a blast, but then I got overwhelmed and didn't really document the whole event. Now, I promised to myself to document the said event until I graduate.

Here it is ladies and gents :

Our guest beat boxer :

Everybody went wild when they saw Ivan Dorschner who represented one of the orgs. A lot of people stood up trying to find where he was (as you could see in the video). It was a hot day, the event was only for two hours but I sweated more than ever. BUT IT WAS INDEED WORTH IT.

Thank you for everyone who made it work, especially to the Student Council. Great job guys!

And here's a picture of me and my beautiful friends!

CNBlue Press Conference in Manila

Pulp Live World held a Press Conference for CNBlue yesterday. It was a 3-hours long event which took place in the Event Center of SM Megamall.

I went there with my friend/blockmate. At the last minute, I decided to bring my Nikon D5100 camera because I wanted to try to cover the event. It was a risky thing to do since we only rode the train to get there, thank God nothing happened.

We arrived at SM Megamall at around 11:00 a.m. and by that time the place was already full. As time passed, more and more people got in and it got crazier. The event organizers tried to calm the people down and let us sit down for a while, but every time a CNBlue related thing/video comes up, they would all stand up. There was A LOT of pushing and cursing throughout the event. We also got to know the fangirls that were near us.

I took pictures of them, because I envy them so much.

The event started with games such as a CNBlue themed Hep Hep Hooray, singing and dancing of CNBlue songs, and which contestant knew more facts about CNBlue.

At around 3:00 p.m. another host came out (I forgot her name) and told us all to calm down or else CNBlue won't show up. She also said that there are korean security in the area and if they feel "threatened", they will leave (together with CNBlue) . Gretchen Fullido was also present in the event as a representative of ABS-CBN.

And then CNBlue showed up! I was not blessed with height so I used my camera to see them and take pictures. I used my Nikon AF Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6 g lens for the event. They were all so handsome! Me and my friend started jumping when we saw Jonghyun! Our CNBlue feels! Minhyuk and Yonghwa sat near us so I saw their faces more often, while it was hard to take pictures of Jungshin and Jonghyun because of all of the cameras that was blocking my way.

The press conference started. There were people from ABS-CBN, GMA, Myx, etc. We couldn't really hear the translation since everyone went ballistic and the microphone of the translator wasn't loud enough. One of the questions that I remembered was when Yonghwa was asked about his inspirations when he's writing their songs. Everyone chanted "Seohyun! Seohyun!", but Yonghwa pretty much ignored that and answered something else. There was also a surprise birthday cake for Yonghwa and we all sang "Happy birthday" for him.

Again, I was not blessed with height but I did my best to take decent pictures of CNBlue.

And here are some GIFs of when they arrived!

 Jungshin dancing.

Yonghwa doing his thing and Minhyuk looking adorable.

The event ended at around 4:30 p.m. and CNBlue took off right away. Me and my friend stayed in SM for a few minutes to eat and change our shirt, we had to buy a shirt from F21 because we were  not smart enough to bring extra clothes.

Hopefully, I could take more decent photos of events someday ;)
